Lots of Guests! {And Craziness!}

Have you ever had a week that was so full of awesomeness that you felt so exhilarated/exhausted/sad-to-see-the-week-end?  That’s kinda how I’m feeling right now.  The past two weeks month has been crazy busy.  We were in St. George Island for a week and then went right into two weeks of visitors.  I can’t even tell you how much fun we’ve had!

The first week back from Florida, our wonderful friends (and Godparents of our girls), Betsy and Jay, came to visit.  The last time we saw them, was at Montreat…it’s amazing how much all of the girls have changed in just a few months!

We had a fabulous day in Charleston…the weather was perfect!

While they were here, we also went to the Southern Living’s Taste of Charleston festival.  We were pretty disappointed after paying for our tickets to find out that the food was very expensive though too…no “tastes” as we thought.  So, we took advantage of the free petting zoo and jumpcastles, and then hightailed it out of there to a “real” restaurant!

We had a lovely week with Betsy, Jay and Lulabelle….it makes my heart so happy to have such wonderful friends, and to see the girls growing up as close as they are!

And as soon as Betsy’s crew had to leave, we had one quick day to change sheets before Mom Mom arrived!  We had a very laid back weekend with her, doing a whole lot of playing outside, trying to get Millie to walk, and Mom/Shara/Loo Loo events.  And true to form, Mom Mom was usually the photographer!

 She is sooooo close!

Saturday, Loo Loo and Mom Mom babysat the kids so Dave and I could join our good friends Rachel and Josh at the Carolina Gamecocks game.  We don’t really have a preference of SC college teams, but we had a wonderful time at the blowout game.  Since we are Georgia Tech fans, it was fun to see the Gamecocks beat the Georgia Bulldogs!  On Sunday, the three of us girls went on a kitchen tour of historic homes….but thanks to a no-picture rule….I  {surprise surprise} have no pictures.  But it was a blast!

What a whirlwind, but a great couple of weeks! Now….back to the grind!
