Magnetic Photo Doll Tin

It’s funny how the popularity of the toys in our house goes in cycles.  The “ballerinatard” that was a permanent fixture on Jayna for months, has been retired (for now, at least!), and old toys have found favor in her eyes yet again.  Prime example: the magnetic photo tin that Betsy made for Jayna’s third birthday.  Jayna played with it daily when she first got it, then it lived in Jayna’s drawer ‘o “stuff” for months, and lately it has resurfaced.

I’m surprised I’m just now getting around to showing it to you.  It is so stinkin’ cute!  It’s one of those projects that I had seen on Pinterest, and admired, and thought, “hey, I could do that!”.  But I didn’t.  But luckily, my crafty BFF has similar thoughts (and much better follow-through!).  So, without further ado…..

Betsy printed embellishments on magnetic sheets of paper.  Lots of hats, necklaces, sunglasses and even the treasured lovie, Elly!

Because all of these are magnetic, they have proven to be a great travel game too! {Thanks Bets!}

Linkin’ Up this week!

  1. I’m so glad it was a hit! I loved it, too. And felt especially proud of myself for thinking to include Elly.

    I remember seeing some on pinterest that had whole body ones with changeable clothes, gotta try that next time!

  2. So cute! Good job, Betsy (see “thumbs up”). I can’t believe I haven’t seen this, so next time….
