Yup, we are still up here in Maryland, having a good ‘ole time with Mom Mom and GP while poor Daddy is at home working and studying all by his lonesome! Yesterday we drove up to Lancaster to see my cousin Julia and her hubby Wouter (pronouced “Vow-ter”). We toured their lovely rowhouse in downtown Lancaster (and yes, there is much more than Amish Country out there!), and then walked over to their farmers market.
But on the way, we found a random piano next to a parking lot!
Turns out it is a traveling project called “Keys for the City” in which custom made pianos are placed around a city (in this case, Lancaster) for all to enjoy! And we did!
Then we had lunch at a cute little cafe that serves kids sandwiches shaped like goldfish, with a side of goldfish. And, if you knock your water glass over on to your plate….your fish actually swim too!
A lovely day with the cousins! Thanks for having us guys!
Today Buggy and I spent the day with Lullabelle and Bets. They modeled some clothes I had made them (See this post for pictures or this post for the tutorial), and took a swim in the kiddie pool. Jayna is practicing hard how to be a big sister (by sharing toys, giving kisses and NOT splashing LuLu!).
Lullabelle was much more interested in taking things out of the pool and putting them in the grass.
While Jayna was happy to just relax and practice her floating skills!
Personally, I was ready to go inside, but was quickly persuded to stay out a few more minutes with a foot massage!
Later, Buggy got to visit Mom Mom’s friend Ms. Lucy for a horseback riding lesson! She has been on a couple of pony rides, but this was her first time on a real horse! She was a little timid at first, but got over it quickly….as the horse was getting saddled up, Jayna kept saying “Ok, I’m ready now!”
Now she’s getting really confindent, waving to the other curious horses!
And rewarding Star, for a very gentle ride. My girl is a natural! =)

It KILLS me how old J looks in these pictures, especially the horse ones!
I agree, marth! She looks like she could easily be about 6 years old with the jeans and boots look.
Good shots, shar! (hahaha my autocorrect just tried to change your name to shat. Awesome!). What fun we have had with you guys. P.s. How did I miss out on the foot massage?!
