We are in full Disney countdown mode here. Jayna jumps out of bed every morning, wanting to go downstairs to cut her chain for the day. Like I said in my Countdown Post, every four days {on White Strip Days}, Jayna gets to choose a Disney Activity out of a bucket.
She looks for the little black Mickey Mouse icon on the white strip on the Countdown Chain, and then chooses one stick out of the little bin {which was a Target Dollar spot find, and then I painted it with chalkboard paint}. The sticks are painted popsicle sticks. And then I traced Mickey Ears and Minnie Bows onto sticker foam and stuck them to the tops of the popsicle sticks. On each stick there is a Disney activity for Jayna to do with me.![]()
Some of the activities were:
-
Play Mickey Memory {which I made}
-
Have a tea party
-
Bibbity Bobbity Boutique Spa day {complete with painting nails and funny hair styles}
-
Play a Disney Game on the iPad or computer
-
Write a letter to a Disney princess or character {mail it to Walt Disney World Communications, PO Box 10040, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0040 for a signed photo!}
- Make a princess wand
- Try on bathing suits and choose which ones to bring
- Mickey Mouse pizza for dinner
- Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast
- Watch a Disney movie
- Watch a YouTube movie of a ride-through of a ride or parade
- Paint a Mickey picture
- Create characters out of playdough
- Pack your bags! We leave tomorrow!

Here’s a REALLY fun one! Make your own Disney autograph book! If you’re a scrapbooker, you should have all the supplies on hand! Each character has their own page and they give you a better interaction when they see how much you put into making sure you have a pic of them!!
I love this idea!! I did make autograph books by scrapbook-covering an existing notebook, but I didn’t think about character pages….next year! Thanks so much for sharing!
